Since we were established in 1888, Rayners have been using traditional methods to manufacture high-quality garden buildings. Based in Godalming, we supply and fit garden buildings to locations in the south of England including local towns like Farnham, Guildford and Woking.<\/p>

We manufacture a wide range of hand-crafted sheds and workshops in both cedarwood and European redwood for customers who generally live in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and the south of England.<\/p>

All of our sheds and workshops come complete with a timber floor on treated joists. However, they can also be modified to fit directly on to a concrete base, making them excellent for storing heavy machinery or equipment.<\/p>

As with all of our garden buildings, our purpose-built sheds and workshops can be fully lined, insulated and double glazed, so that they can be used throughout the year.<\/p>

Our standard and custom made sheds and workshops are clad with shiplap boarding in either cedarwood or European redwood. Our shiplap boarding is milled in a unique profile to complement our designs and are either hand treated with wood preservatives or hand painted in a colour of your choice.<\/p>

Our shed and workshop roofs are fully boarded on heavy-duty timber purlins or rafters with timber trusses, where necessary. On our standard range, the roofs are covered with high-performance mineral surfaced felt or felt tiles, which are available in a choice of colours.<\/p>

We also can manufacture bespoke sheds and workshops finished with cedar shingles, clay tiles or slates.<\/p>

Our standard sheds and workshops can be glazed with clear glass double glazed sealed units fitted, if required.<\/p>

As with all our garden buildings, we are able to manufacture bespoke sheds and workshops designed to meet our customers\u2019 specific requirements. We can also fit shelving and work benches into our workshops, if required.<\/p>

Depending on site conditions and the size and design of our garden buildings, it may be necessary to lay a concrete base or similar hard standing on which to erect the building. We are able to undertake any site preparation and base works that maybe required.<\/p>
